Integrated Movement Therapies® (IMT)

Integrated Movement Therapies® is a simple, effective and enjoyable way of improving movement habits and choices that may be hindering function in everyday life and sports performance.  The practice of IMT® increases movement efficiency, awareness of body connections and breathing practices and releases tension. It is a personalized integration of movement systems developed by Danielle Belec. This therapy is based on Laban Movement Analysis and the Bartenieff Fundamentals, with influences from yoga, tai chi, and the Alexander/Mitzvah techniques. It is a unique and basic compliment to any fitness, rehabilitative or sport program and designed into your program for warm-ups and recovery.

Pilates

The Pilates method of exercise has enjoyed a recent resurgence in the fitness arena some 90+ years after it was developed by Joseph Pilates. It provides an exercise system that carefully strengthens and stretches complementary muscle groups together to develop a longer, leaner, and strong muscle tone and contributes to core strength, body awareness, coordination, posture, athletic performance and more.

Enjoy our studio’s full compliment of accessories for mat and reformer, a Pilates self-designed resistance machine, exercises.
